The scent opens with bergamot and spices. At the heart are leather and incense. The base consists of oud, amber and patchouli.
Citrus scents are built around bergamot, lemon, orange or grapefruit and smell fresh and bright. Of the 79 Bujairami scents on this site, the shop files 36 under the citrus family. Incense, also called frankincense or olibanum, is a tree resin that smells cool, smoky and slightly lemony. Leather is an accord rather than an extract; it smells dry, smoky and slightly animalic, and softer when described as suede. Oud, also called agarwood, is a dark resinous wood with a deep, smoky and slightly animalic smell.
An eau de parfum contains less fragrance oil than an extrait de parfum and more than an eau de toilette. Of the 79 scents on this site, 35 are sold as an eau de parfum, The Aftermath among them.
